Vol. 2 No. 1 (2025)Ecological surveys are the process by which a proposed development site is assessed to determine any environmental impacts the development may have. This assessment includes all environmental factors. With any potential new land development it includes a range of site investigations including ecological, environmental and geographical surveys, together with cost estimates, insurance, structural guarantees and planning permission.
