About the Journal
The main purpose of the CografyIQ Academic Research Journal is to create a scientific platform where scientists working in the fields of education, culture, tourism, history and interdisciplinary fields, primarily in geography, share their knowledge, experience, evaluations, opinions and suggestions, and to contribute to the studies in this field at national and international levels.
The journal includes applied or theoretical studies, model proposals, analyses and evaluations, reviews, translations, quantitative and qualitative research in the sub-branches of geography, education, culture, history and tourism (including interdisciplinary studies).
It is published in Turkish and English languages with double-blind peer-reviewed articles in two issues per year, at least one and a special thematic issue. In order for studies to be published in the journal, the similarity rate must be at most 20%.

Current Issue
Vol. 2 No. 1 (2025): Ecology Research
Ecological surveys are the process by which a proposed development site is assessed to determine any environmental impacts the development may have. This assessment includes all environmental factors. With any potential new land development it includes a range of site investigations including ecological, environmental and geographical surveys, together with cost estimates, insurance, structural guarantees and planning permission.
